Terry Fenton

 

 

Terry Fenton, former director of the Edmonton Art Gallery (1972 - 1987), the A.C. Leighton Foundation, Calgary (1987 - 1993) and the Mendel Art Gallery, Saskatoon (1993 - 1997), has been a dedicated and accomplished landscape painter for over 30 years. His current paintings reflect a deep affection for the prairies, capturing the big skies and changing light of the Western Canadian landscape. In addition to numerous private and corporate collections in Canada the US and England, his work is represented in the collections of the Canada, Council Art Bank, the Alberta Foundation for the Arts, the Mendel Art Gallery, Saskatoon, the Edmonton Art Gallery and the Norman Mackenzie Art Gallery, Regina. As well as galleries in Canada, Fenton is represented by Meredith Long Gallery, Houston, Texas and Black & Greenberg Gallery, New York.
